Christmas fun with Decor Elements....

I went out for a girls day with my good friend, Melissa. We each got our hair cut, Melissa got her nails done (I got mine done yesterday) and then we went shopping! On a mission actually, to find glass blocks for putting Decor Elements on. Home Depot did not have any *sniff, sniff* so we went to Rona and we hit the jackpot! We each walked out with a CASE! LOL...

Here's one that I have decorated up, but I need to return my green string of white lites for white strings...looks better in the block...this one was made with the medium Jingle All The Way Decor Elements. Ladies, these are sooooo simple and easy to make. They make super great gifts!

 

We also picked up some 12 x 12 ceramic tiles to put some decor elements on...here's my sample with the small Season of Thanks in chocolate brown:

Crazy for Cupcakes SC199

Life has been crazy busy for me the past month, and today, I got to spend the whole day at home to do whatever I wanted and I decided it's been way too long since I've sat at my craft table and made a card. I went to Splitcoaststampers and found their sketch challenge for today. It was with multiple layers which is the style of cards I really like.

 

Since it is Breast Cancer Awareness, I included pink in my card that I created. Here is my creation for the sketch challenge. I apologize as you can't really see the Dazzling Diamonds, but it's on the candle and confetti on the icing. I love, love, love this new set! :)

...more Regionals highlights.....

Stampin' Up! is such a wonderful company to work for! How many companies give away free products to their employees, feed them an incredible lunch and "allow" you to stamp, stamp, stamp your afternoon away when you are at their business conference???!!  Stampin' Up! does! Shelli was so fun to watch create Halloween projects and all the design professionals today were totally amazing! Highlights from Edmonton Regional Conference....

All I can say right now everyone is "WOW!" I am still on cloud 9 and P-U-M-P-E-D about this great business we call stampin' Up! I am soooo glad that I stepped out of that comfort zone and took the plunge to get a ticket for this event...I learned so much today and got to meet some of the most amazing people in this business. Yep, the main lady herself, Shelli Gardner, co-founder and CEO of Stampin' Up!, was there today - AND....I even got my pic taken with her! My heart was just a racin' I was so excited! Here are a few pic's I'd love to share with you....

 

 

This display shows many beautiful ways to use the set called Best Wishes and More. We all received it FREE today at Regionals! It was a lot of fun to use it on our make and takes today!! Thanks, SU!

Bella Rose Plaid....

Hello there....as promised....a card for you....LOL. I went to SCS and found their challenge for today - Ways to Use it....and today it was Ways to Use Plaid. I decided to go with plaid paper from Bella Rose DP. Hope you enjoy it! Now I'm off to bed so I can leave for Edmonton tomorrow for Regionals on Saturday! I'm sooooo excited! Almost ready...

Good morning! Yep, I am almost ready for Regionals Conference on Saturday! YIPEEE! I'm very excited but extremely nervous too. I wish I was able to take a couple friends with me but tickets sold out so fast. I am sure to bring back lots of wonderful new techniques and tips for all of my stamping friends! I was reading over some of the general information last night on the Stampin' Up! website and we get a free stamp set (Best Wishes and More) from the Idea Book and Catalog, we get to do various stamping projects,make and takes, swapping with fellow demonstrators, free lunch and valuable information handed down from Stampin' Up! staff....I'm so pumped! I will be sure to take my digi camera to take pics of some of the samples they will have up for display.

Sorry that the activity level here at my Blog has been low...I will attempt to get a card put on here tonight. I am feeling the need to get creative so once I get my busy day done, I will try and sit tonight and make you all something to see! Have a great day everyone!

I am thankful.....

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I had a nice weekend with my kids. DH wasn't able to be home for this holiday but we made sure to tell him frequently via phone calls and texting that he was missed and loved and that we are very thankful for him and how hard he works for us. My Dad was here installing my new computer and of course, that is a very time consuming job so it ate up a lot of our time. Jackie, Nat and the kids came Saturday night and left on Sunday late afternoon. It was so good to see them all...Bailey and Cooper are sure growing fast. I have pictures I will post tomorrow when I get the camera software installed on my computer :)

I showed Jackie how to make the DVD Scrapbook and she made one for one of her friends. It turned out very nice! They make such GREAT gifts! I will get her to take some pic's of it and send them to me so that I can post them for you all to see.

Well, it's been a very busy, mentally taxing weekend so I'm off to bed to browse my new Paper Crafts magazine and hit the hay. I will see you tomorrow! Yep, I'm home tomorrow! YIPEEE! Night!
