Peaceful Tidings Cupcake Challenge

I wandered on over to Taylored Expressions this evening and found this challenge waiting for me:

 

I was quite excited to see this sketch because I like using the multiple layers and deciding what DP to use AND...it's a chance to use my nesties! FUN!

Here is my card:

 

I used the Holiday Treasures designer paper with a ruby red base. For the top layer I used my fav color, Chocolate Chip and used a gemstone brad in the center of the snowflake.

I added the Peaceful Tidings rub on after I got the card assembled. Thanks for looking!

Ink: Baroque Burgundy and Always Artichoke

Accessories: white ribbon, ticket corner punch, 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches, silver brads, dimensionals, sponge daubers

Rub on Fun....

Good morning! It's a chilly morning here in central Alberta..brrrr! My good friend, Leanne, and I had a bit of a challenge last night as I left a good portion of my Christmas stamps at the school yesterday after my Stamp-A-Stack for today's group get together. So....Leanne suggested we make cards with rub on's..what a great idea since I do not use them that often and I have TONS of them LOL...I also had a *few* acrylic stamp sets here so I combined them both....here's what Leanne and I came up with last night...thanks for looking!
